Graduate Programs

The Department of Computer Science delivers three graduate programs.

  • Master of Science in Computer Science
    This program provides great breadth and depth of knowledge in the field of computing, preparing graduates for a choice of research and development positions in industry, or continuing to a doctoral program in computer science.

  • Master of Science in Software Engineering
    This program provides a professionally-oriented curriculum, including a capstone project, while preparing students for an excellent choice of industry jobs with focus in software development.

  • Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
    This interdisciplinary program (provided in coordination with the departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics and Statistics) is designed to train students to use computational techniques and data analyses to advance core understanding and development involving biological systems.

These programs are supported by a variety of graduate courses in computer science.


Apply Now! While these programs each had a February 1st deadline for full consideration, we will continue to receive and review applications through June 1, 2018 for those wishing to begin their studies in Fall 2018.
