Coursebook Description
CSCI 305 (ECE 325) - Microprocessors:
       Review of number systems. Microprocessors/microcomputer structure, input/output. Signals and devices. Computer arithmetic, programming, interfacing and data acquisition. 3 credit hours.

CSCI 306 (ECE 326) - Microprocessor Laboratory:
       Concurrent registration with CSCI 305/ECE 325. Laboratory experiments to emphasize materials covered in CSCI 305/ECE 325. 1 credit hour.

Homework is graded +, ✓, &ndash, or 0. Homework may be turned in late, but will be reduced by one grade level (e.g. a ✓ will be reduced to a &ndash).

Lab reports receive a 10% penalty for the first weekday late. There is a 25% penalty for up to one week late. Lab assignments will not be accepted later than one week after the due date.

Exam grades are based on a class curve.

Note: The grading system may be adjusted as needed at the discretion of the instructor.
