What’s new
Research
Computer vision and image retrieval to help identify where victims of human trafficking and child sexual abuse have been photographed.
Our work on hotel recognition combines large-scale visual search, fine-grained place recognition, and investigator-facing tools. The research has produced the Hotels-50K and OpenHotels datasets, community benchmarks, and new approaches to multimodal and geographically constrained retrieval.
Image search guided by natural language, visual examples, concepts, and human notions of similarity.
Computer vision for plant phenomics, hyperspectral imagery, remote sensing, and genotype–phenotype analysis.
Visualizations and evaluation tools that make similarity models and embedding spaces easier to understand.
