Dr. Jie Hou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Saint Louis University.  He is interested in using machine learning methods to address fundamental problems in biomedical studies, specifically focusing on protein structure prediction and genomic data analysis for improving human health. He has published research work in journals such as Bioinformatics, Scientific Reports, Proteins, and PNAS. His work is also publicly available for research communities as web servers and software packages.
