• print function
  • This is our first example of a function.
  • It is a powerful one that allows for any number of arguments to be given
  • Each argument is IMPLICITLY converted to string representation for display (even if it was not actually a string)
  • We use commas to separate the arguments to the function, and by default, print will insert space between each pair within the displayed result
  • By default, print will produce a final newline; print() without arguments displays a line with only the newline character

  • Always returns a string
  • Optional argument is a prompt string
• Type conversions and care when working with strings.
